UPDATE: MOESK’s IFRS net profit rises 2.7% to 2.94 bln rbl in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK), part of Russian state power grid holding Rosseti, rose 2.7% on the year to 2.941 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report on Friday.
Revenue grew 8.6% on the year to 77.55 billion rubles.
Revenue from power sales rose 8.47% to 72.9 billion rubles, while revenue from technological connections of consumers increased 5.9% to 2.9 billion rubles.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased 8.8% to 20.3 billion rubles.
Operating costs went up 8.65% 73.5 billion rubles.
